Zuzana Šochová is an independent Agile coach and trainer and a Certified Scrum Trainer with more than fifteen years of experience in the IT industry. She led one of the very first Agile international projects in the Czech Republic, focusing on distributed Scrum teams, working in different time zones between Europe and the USA. Now she is a leading expert on Agile and Scrum practices in both startups and big corporations. She has experience with Agile adoption in telco, finance, healthcare, automotive, mobile, and high-tech software companies. She has worked in various positions, starting as software developer for life and mission-critical systems, and continuing as a Scrum Master and director of engineering. She has been working as an independent Agile coach and trainer since 2010, specializing in organizational and team coaching, facilitations, and culture change using Agile and Scrum. Zuzi is a well-known international speaker. She is a founder of the Czech Agile Community, which organizes the annual Agile Prague Conference. This book is a must-read for every Scrum Master! I've just finished reading it for the third time and although I consider myself quite experienced, I've gathered a large amount of new insights. The three levels of the Scrum Master are a useful perspective to take into account. It clearly shows the richness and potential of the Scrum Master role. The book contains clear examples, practices, and lot's of exercises you can try immediately. If you're interested in this position, this book is definitely worth reading.
Very good book. I like the fact that she started as a not-so-convinced developer who then was moved to the Scrum Master position. Very recommended
I'm an Agile coach and I found this book to be particularly helpful to me in building our training for the teams that I work with. I recommend reading this book if you are a new or even an experienced ScrumMaster. I often use the section on self-organizing teams to help me explain those concepts to students in my coursework.
